Parmarth Niketan - Daily Ganga Aarti
Parmarth Niketan is one of the most renowned temple complex and ashram in the area . The Daily Ganga Aarti at Parmarth Niketan is a spectacle you would never wish to miss. It is an hour of prayer, song and meditation in praise of River Ganges that instigate a deep sense of bliss, reverence and spiritual connection.





Ram Jhula & Lakshman Jhula
Jhula translates into Swing in Hindi. Lakshman Jhula, a 450 feet long suspension bridge was built in 1939. Ram Jhula has been added recently. Due to the spirituality tied up with them or the sheer wonder of technology that keep them hanging from towers built on both ends, these two bridges have acquired the status of monuments and tourists eye them with awe.

Neelkanth Temple
Situated at 22 kms away from Rishikesh, Neelkant temple is another tourist attraction. Dedicated to Lord Shiva (Neelkant is another name for Shiva) the shrine draws thousands of devotees and visitors from all over India and abroad. According to Hindu Mythology, Lord Shiva consumed the poison that precipitated during the 'Saagar madan' lest it would perish earth and heaven. The hillock where the shrine is situated now is supposed to be the spot where Lord Shiva performed this fete.
